We applied a poultice. The brand we used was Italian "Bellinzoni" and it was called Mangia Macchia. We had a U.S. one called Poutice Plus but didn't need it. We applied it and covered it with Saran wrap taped around the edges, overnight. The next day we removed the wrap and let it dry. When we brushed it away the green was gone. I did a 2nd application on some of the bigger spots to toally remove any shades of green.
